Creating Work
My particular skill is creating work for myself. Everyone must have a talent for something, and that’s mine.
Last Sunday, I opened an email at 6:30 am and was informed that my sproodles website had been hacked to 7K+ spam posts. The last time this happened, I manually deleted the posts and purchased security. This time, I’ve spent the week transferring websites from one server to another, which has required rebuilding them on an unfamiliar platform. I believe I’m hearing violins playing sympathetic music about now.
In reality, I love this stuff. I’ve enjoyed watching the tutorials and implementing the suggestions. I still have work to do; lots of tweaks are needed. I’ve even fit laundry and meal prep in.
My house painters started this week; I suspect we will still be together for the holidays … Christmas, not July 4th.
The flowers and veggies are planted, and the dogs join me for evening watering.
Brady, Kelly, and I rescued four kittens this morning. Heaven, please help us. They aren’t as tiny as the previous rescues but equally cute.
I selected this photo to represent my ability to make more work for myself. The dish was supposed to be my mini Zen garden, a relaxing thing. With its tiny size, it’s challenging to get the rake marks, to be precise, and the end result is more stressful than relaxing. Heaven help anyone who touches it.
