Decorate for spring

I enjoy refreshing my decor as spring arrives by swapping winter items for spring-themed ones. I replace the winter decor in the entryway with straw hats and a butterfly garland on the hall tree. On the kitchen island, I display faux poppies. The bench on the back porch is adorned with cute pillows, and I hang a floral wreath on the front door.

I've added a yellow cover and a floral duvet to create a cheerful atmosphere in my bedroom.

Plan a butterfly garden.

This is easier said than done. Nurseries in this area seem to focus more on veggies than butterflies. With the plant list in hand this year, I will explore Amazon.

Change plates.

Already done. Winter plates are packed away until next January. Spring meadow plates are washed and in the cabinet until June. Summer will be Kate Spade and polka dots.
