The Bucket List

First, I loved the idea even though I couldn’t check all the boxes.

Coffee on the porch

Coffee in the afternoon was nice, and coffee in the morning was nice even though it was a little chilly and dark. Honestly, though, I prefer my routine of coffee in the office while reading before heading out to the dogs.

Dinner by candlelight

This involved a long search for candles … insert eye roll.

Host a soup night

It was great fun having French Onion Soup and conversation. Dessert consisted of brownies with chocolate ganache.

Read a tale from the Brothers Grimm.

I found an eBook of Grimm’s Fairy Tales published in July 2024. The collection is huge, and the tales are in their original format, as opposed to the revamped tales for Disney. I’ve enjoyed reading quite a few.

Mummy pillow time

My little mummy pillow made me smile all month; sadly, it’s time for him to retire until next year.
