Charming
The assignment had me stumped for a good week, and then it clicked. I haven’t had a chance to drop the two rings off at a jeweler, it’s on the “to-do list” this week.
The significance
You can see the meaningful Egyptian symbol charm .. insert eye roll.
The locket belonged to my grandmother.
The partial band is the charm Lisa gave me.
The tiny signet ring is a pinky ring given to me by my brother long ago. It’s a nice reminder of our relationship in better times.
The final addition is the first ring Jim gave me. It was a place holder that was replaced with my engagement/ wedding rings.
I have a tiny heart locket. a four leave clover with a pearl center, and jade earrings from my other four grandparents but they’re on charm bracelets and will remain.”
